Here's the truth: As we use up a resource, if demand stays high, it's price will go higher and higher. Oil is a finite resource, one that will ONLY become more scarce as the whole world increases it's use of it. The only alternative is another fuel and energy source. Expect that the price of gas will constantly increase, and that one day you will pay more for your fuel you use to drive to work then you make at work that day.
